The FUSION initiative for the performance and media representation of race and difference at Emory is lead by Dr. W. Alexander Escobar, Chair of the President’s Commission on Race and Ethnicity. The FUSION project hosts major events to stimulate communication and collaboration between diverse ethnic and cultural groups within the Emory community through the universal languages of music and dance. Using interaction through performance, FUSION increases awareness in the Emory community of the importance of diversity.
